The First Tribute Match
In 2022 the SANFL stage its first tribute match to an individual player with the Port Adelaide and West Adelaide match on Sunday May 22. The match was played in honour of Port Adelaide’s Russell Ebert with the Russell Ebert Tribute Match Cup awarded to the winning club.
